Ephesians 6:1-4 Teaches Obedience To Parents
I’ve just completed reading a great book for parents to read and share with their children to scripturally teach them the benefits of Godly obedience. What You Owe Your Parents, by Tommy Benjamin is the guide you need for teaching children the way they should go accrding to Ephesians 6:1-4. All Christian parents should read this if they care about their children’s futures.
Ephesians 6:1-4 (KJV)
1. Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; 3. That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. 4. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
OBEDIENCE TO PARENTS IS BEING OBEDIENT TO GOD!
God created children to desire a loving but stable life. However, many children and teens today are allowed to control how their parents discipline them. Tommy’s book has all the answers to help children and teens feel secure in their home life through obeying their parents while they develop a deep relationship with God at the same time.
Parents can have the confidence that they are obeying God by teaching their children and teens to obey them. It’s a beautiful cycle of Christian growth that results in a peaceful home life and a successful future for children.
You need to get your copy if you have children or grandchildren. The book is written so that children who can read as well as teenagers can understand it and be motivated to live a Godly life by obeying and respecting their parents.
