The 5 Steps To Begin Living Your Life Purpose

5 Life Purpose Steps

Based Upon Scripture

One of the most asked questions by Christians is how can they discover God’s will for their lives. They feel from deep within their hearts that there is something special they’re supposed to do, but they don’t know how to find it. That feeling can’t be satisfied without trusting God for assurance of salvation and the belief that we are good enough to be used by God.

If you’re experiencing that inward feeling, this is God bearing witness in your spirit by the Holy Spirit that He is calling you to do something magnificent with your life to serve Him. It can be a career, business or ministry function. Whatever it is, God gave you the talent to do it, so He will provide supernatural ability for you to fulfill it!

As long as we reject God’s leading, we’ll never stop feeling that something isn’t quite right from our hearts until we stop and listen to God and obey His speaking to us by the Holy Spirit.

Keep in mind that it’s not a question of “either or” with God. Once we receive salvation, we must take action to transform our lives in order to conform to God’s ways. Once we make the decision to commit to God’s will over our own and live it, we’re ready to commit to our life purpose.  This is a necessary process to become like Jesus and follow Him.

Your life purpose is great and wonderful, so don’t worry about God sending you to Africa or a remote island with lepers. Whatever it is you’ll love it because you’ve been created for it!  So it’s an worthless endeavor to be concerned about what God has in mind, it’s only profitable to be ready to serve God by living His Word and His will for you.

If we don’t know how to learn what God wants us to do or how to develop it, the special calling we’ve been given will never become a reality. I’ve created short lessons that will help you work with God His way according to the Word.  You can read those by going to my Life Fulfillment Section.

JUST A REMINDER: People come from different backgrounds, races and religions, but no matter how different we all are, God is not a respecter of persons and He sees each of us in Christ.  If we’re believers, that’s the only criteria we need to live our God-given destinies.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 says: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

5 Steps To Begin Your Life Purpose

Steps for receiving your life purpose. The short Bible Study, Assurance of Salvation clarifies what it means to be saved and assured of your salvation to know that you have a right to look to God for your life purpose.  For more information on the steps below, go to Life Purpose Steps for comprehensive information.

1. you must be saved

2. study the Word and live it as you learn it

3. pray to commit your will to God and to know your purpose

4. receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit

5. work with God, step by step in His timing

Don’t let the steps above make you afraid of getting out of your comfort zone or going beyond what you know. Be at peace and let God guide you. Everything will work together for the best experience. God won’t dramatically change your life all at once but in increments, and He will never separate your family, but draw each member closer together.

God reveals His will to us in steps according to His plans and purposes. Therefore, God doesn’t give a complete picture of our future.  If we knew the future it would be our natural reaction to work toward accomplishing it by our limited human ability rather than allowing the Holy Spirit to empower us supernaturally.  By the prayer of commitment, we continue to ask God to reveal His will to us for our lives and He will give us what we need to know, when we need to know it.

Use the studies for Christian growth and Life Purpose Fulfillment (see links above) to grow up spiritually and to live God’s will for your life. Here are the first three studies that will help you understand Salvation, God’s will and why you should live God’s will.  If you have questions please use our question and answer tab at the lower right of this site.
