Laying On Of Hands
Laying On Of Hands

My site states on just about every page or blog post that Christians have the right to believe that they can receive scriptural healing through Jesus Christ today. I say it as often as I can because most Christians haven’t been taught to receive healing through Jesus Christ, and in some churches they are taught that it’s wrong or goes against the Bible.

I also like to reinforce the spiritual truth that God’s loving hands are around you as if you were a tiny baby, looking to Him as your ultimate source for whatever you need. Well if you need healing, you must look to God by believing Him and not listening to the people who tell you “God Doesn’t Heal Today!”

If you’re ill, this isn’t the time to be bullied into the submission by your church, your doctor, friends or relatives. If the message you’re hearing is that it’s too late for you, stop listening to that lie and instead look to God! Through Jesus Christ you can receive healing for whatever sickness, disease or condition you have today! A good way to receive your healing is by the laying on of hands if you have little faith.

The Scriptural Doctrine Of The Laying On Of Hands

Did you know that right now you can lay hands on yourself and be healed in the name of Jesus Christ? It is your New Testament right to receive all of God’s blessings, and that includes physical and mental healing. You don’t even need to lay hands on your body, but the laying on of hands is a scriptural way to be healed when one has little faith. It gives you a point of contact for God’s healing power. In fact “the laying on of hands” is a scriptural practice in many spirit filled churches.

If you have little faith, I recommend that you find such a church and have the church leaders or pastor lay hands on you if you don’t feel that on your own you have the faith you need to pray and then believe you have received. You may prefer to have someone lay hands on you because you need to join your faith with others. It would be best to visit your local church or a church where faith for healing is preached. Have one of the leaders lay hands on you and pray or the whole congregation if they have healing services.

Once you learn how to pray the “Prayer of Faith” and put forth your faith, you will be able to receive your healing without the presence of others. I do recommend that you develop your own faith for physical health and healing because you might need healing at a time when the people you trust to pray with you aren’t available. However, if you need to get through this time with help, let others pray over you and with you in agreement.

No matter how you choose to believe God for healing, once you pray, continue to believe that you are healed in the name of Jesus Christ until you receive the physical manifestation. Don’t give up, God will never let you down.

Scriptural Proof Of Divine or Scriptural Healing

1 Peter 2:24:

Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Isaiah 53:4-5:

4. Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

These scriptures from both the New and the Old Testament prove that Jesus Christ has provided you with healing through His work on the cross. Through His crucifixion, you can walk in perfect and divine health.

Continue to believe that you are healed in the name of Jesus Christ until you receive the physical manifestation of your healing. Don’t give up, God HEALED YOU as soon as you asked.

Scriptural Proof Of The laying On Of Hands

Hebrews 6:2:

Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

1 Timothy 4:14:

Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery (the laying on of hands).
