Walking With God
It’s not by chance or accident that we are able to communicate with God. Many people are waiting to hear God’s Voice, to receive a dream or have a vision. However, the Word tells us how we can communicate with God.
While it’s true that many people have received visions and dreams, we’ll be left behind if we wait for them to begin our walk with God.
We Must Take The Initiative With God
According to John 4:24 God is a spirit and we can only worship God in spirit and in truth. The truth is God’s Word, the Bible. This means that as we pray from our hearts to God we’re able to communicate with Him. It also means that we cannot communicate with Him by our intellect or emotions.
As we live by His Word, we’re also living according to His spirit because the beginning of St. John tells us that God is the Word. If God is a spirit and He is the Word, then as we put God’s Word into our hearts and act upon it we have God’s Spirit within us to give us His ability and guidance.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
We have been given a free will to live according to God’s Spirit, so we must make the choice to live by His Word, act upon it and live His will for our lives.
What do you will to do? Will it be to live the dreams that God put into your heart at Salvation? To abide by His Word for the rest of your life and let Him guide you? If your answer is yes to all three questions, you are ready to move forward with God.
While you may feel uncomfortable, that’s okay. It is sometimes difficult for us to change our lives and switch to God’s plan when we are used to having our own plans, but I promise you that once you let God take the lead, you are on your way to the very best and most rewarding life you can live.
Note: It doesn’t matter who you are, how old you are or what you’ve done. God will take you just as you are this moment and give you His ability to make the changes you need and to do the work He has for you alone. For any mistakes and problems in your past, ask God for forgiveness in Jesus’ Name’, receive it and then move forward with Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father, I dedicate my life to you this day and center everything I do upon you. I desire to live your will and I ask that you give me your divine wisdom, courage and ability to accomplish all that you ask. Please forgive my sins in Jesus’ name.
