How well does anyone know anyone? How well do we even know ourselves? There is a way to understand the people we know and judge the people we’re asked to trust. We can even understand the true motives of our own hearts.
This invaluable information means that we can have better relationships, not be tricked by others and make the changes in our lives that will give us the success God desires we have in Christ.
Because of God’s love for believers, He reveals Himself to us in His Word so that we can know Him. All of us hold back the parts of our characters that we don’t want others to see, sometimes on purpose and sometimes without realizing it. But we can develop clear understanding of our thoughts and actions by learning about God’s nature. We need to understand God through His Word, and when we do, we can better understand ourselves because we were created in His image.
Note: God loves the world, but because the world doesn’t believe in Him, God’s love cannot fulfill the blessings He freely gives in His Word through Jesus Christ to those who deny Him. We can only receive from God by faith.

The Love Of God Scripture To Better Understand God
He who HAS MY COMMANDMENTS AND KEEPS THEM, it is he who loves me. And HE WHO LOVES ME will be loved by my father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him. – John 14:21 (Jesus speaks of the Father.)
The Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. – John 16:27. (When we love Jesus we love the Father.)
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. -1 John 4:15-16
God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.” -Psalms 7:11 (God acknowledges your love toward Him.)
Proverbs 15:9 – the way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
