Christian Money Growth Scripture To
Confess and Meditate Upon

The Christian Money Growth Scripture from St. John and 1
Peter will help you develop and advance your career and business goals
for success as you draw nearer to God.  God must be at the center of all our goals as well
as our money to keep us centered upon and obedient to His Word.

Christian Money Growth Scripture

When you have specific problems that are pressing in on you, it’s important that you take care of them as quickly as possible.

I’ve learned from past experience that when I have waited to use faith, thinking that the problem will go away on it’s own, things can get more complicated and will eventually take more faith and time to get over.

So begin working right away on your problems by confessing and meditating upon scripture that is relevant to your personal situation.  Speak the verses aloud or quietly to yourself whenever possible.  Also meditate upon them, personalizing and making them come alive for you.

Christian meditation is a means of muttering phrases or a few key words of scripture out loud to get them into your heart.  The more you do this the greater your belief from the heart that you have what you say according to Mark 11:23.

This is how you renew your mind.  Examples are included below each scripture given. This takes some work on your part, but it will increase your ability to advance in your life’s work, your personal life, and
your finances.

I’ve used each of the following Christian Money Growth scriptures to discover my calling and to build a spiritual reality by learning how to think God’s thoughts to override any negative or limited thinking I
have and might find in myself now.

1Peter 5:5-7

5. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder.  Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility:  for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

6. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt (raise you up) you in due time:

7.  Casting all your care (anxiety) upon him; for he careth for you.

Personalize by paraphrasing verses.

Example:  “I humble myself before God and believe that he will exalt and promote me in my work in his time” (not your time, His).  Just keep moving in His guidance and you will live your calling within the steps He gives you.   You can also say, referring to everything that causes
you stress or anxiety, “I cast all my anxiety upon God because He cares about me.”

When it comes to money problems, I found that besides asking for a specific amount of money, it’s wise to also ask God to bring financial opportunities, promotions, new clients or raises, for example.  Ready cash isn’t the only way God blesses His people financially.

The following spiritual growth verses are Biblical proof that God is working on your behalf  through His Son, Jesus Christ. The key verse is St. John 15:4.  Getting these verses into your heart will give you the reality of who you are in Christ and how you can come alive in Him through God’s Word.

John 15:4-7

4.  Abide in me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5.  I am the vine ye are the branches:  He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:  for without me ye can do nothing.

6.  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7.  If ye abide in me (remain attached to), and my words (scripture) abide in you (affect), ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

When paraphrasing scripture, keep it simple.  Speak the way you normally do.   Here are affirmations for the verses above.  “I must remain attached to Christ  (keep Christ at the center of your life) to remain prosperous in my calling and all that I do (bearing fruit).  Because I do this, I can ask what I want and it will be done for me (based upon God’s prayer principles).  I believe that with the attitude to do God’s will, I am out of debt and my money is constantly increasing.”

Also, read St. John 15:16 below to gain more insight that God has a special purpose for you and He will prosper you in that calling if you abide in Christ.   You will bear fruit (prosper in what you do).  And you can ask God for anything and He will give it to you.  See more about this below.

John 15:16

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain (abide):  that whatever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Important Spiritual Law:  you can ask for anything from God according to His Word, but first you must make your request in the name of Jesus Christ!  You can’t have faith for advancement or anything from God if you don’t ask for what you want in the name of Jesus.  It is through His work on the cross that we receive answered prayer.
