The Atonement Of Jesus Christ Has No Time Limit!

The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the sacrifice He made to help us overcome sin, adversity, and spiritual death. Jesus’ atoning sacrifice took place in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross at Calvary. He paid the price for our sins, took upon Himself death, and was resurrected. The Atonement is the supreme expression of love given us by our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ throughout eternity.

3 John 1:2  “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

The Atonement Of Jesus ChristProsperity with God doesn’t just cover financial, but also well-being from within the heart, soul, body and mind. We can expect to live healthy lives, and if we get sick, our bodies and minds can be healed, even if people tell us this is not the truth. We can also enjoy emotional stability through well-being within our souls.

In order to receive all of our blessings, we need to be assured that the Atonement of Jesus Christ covers all the blessings or promises we find in scripture.  Christ died so that we might have life and have it more abundantly according to John 10:10.  He tells us that He came to give us abundant life.  The following are related words that will give more meaning to the word “abundant” that I found on Google:

plentiful, copious, ample, profuse, rich, lavish, abounding, liberal, generous, bountiful, large, huge, great, bumper, overflowing, prolific,

You can see that Jesus desires that we abound in our blessings.  3 John 1:2 makes clear that we are to prosper and be in health.  And our souls should prosper as well or be satisfied.  John tells us that we should prosper in all areas our lives, our health and our souls.  No where does the Bible say that God desires for His children to live in misery.  We are to abound in living prosperous lives, and we can do that because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

Centering The Atonement Upon Physical and Mental Healing

Matthew 8:16-17 and 1 Peter 2:24 (hover over these verses to read)

Not every Christian believes that the Atonement covers more than forgiveness of sins, and especially healing. However, I’ve taken these verses seriously for over thirty years. I’ve been healed of childhood asthma, the beginning stages of cancer, many other serious ailments throughout my life and even recently when I had difficulty walking. I taught my family this truth as well, and have been thankful to God for healing them since they were children.

People call this a doctrine that began in the nineteenth century, yet Jesus went about healing sicknesses and diseases when He was on earth over 2,000 years ago. But in His home town, “He could do no miracles there” according to the Bible, except for a few healings. Jesus faced the same unbelief as we do now. But the unbelief of others never kept me from believing and I hope that my site will help you do the same.

We have to ask ourselves this question: “if Jesus were here, would we believe in Him or would we call Him a liar or a fake the way his hometown did?” Remember, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! We can’t pick and choose to believe only the part of Christ’s message that is convenient for us to believe.

If we can believe Jesus for salvation, then we must believe whatever else He says. If we can’t believe that He heals today, then how can we believe Him for salvation? I have many verses to share with you about healing, and throughout this site I’ll be using them to prove to you that Jesus’ healing ministry is ongoing today through His people.

The Atonement of Jesus Christ provides every need you have, but unless you understand how to trust God by faith, you won’t be able to take advantage of what Christ did for you on the cross.

Take time to meditate upon the following verse in order to better understand from your heart that we can follow Him by doing what He did for others. If He says we can do His works, then you can be healed of anything, including the same problems that have been overtaking your life year after year.

John 14:12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
