LIVING ABUNDANTLY

IN CHRIST

Through Jesus Christ we are living abundantly even if we don't feel our lives are blessed.  We can receive those blessing by acknowledging and being thankful for the blessings we already have.

Thankfulness Leads To Abundant Living

As Christians we’ve been blessed with salvation, which gives us the ability to grow closer to God and to be like Jesus because of His
work on the cross.  And according to the Word we have the ability
to receive all of God's blessings. So if you think you have nothing to
be thankful for, you actually have everything you could want at your disposal by faith.

We have perfect and divine health and healing, soundness of mind, financial prosperity, peace, joy, success, and a special ability to accomplish God's will for our lives.  And we have been given rest!

So Then Why Do We Work So Hard?

Because we have been conditioned to do things our way instead of God's. We have learned to work hard daily just to survive and get

by, but that is not God's best for us.

Ephesians 4:24 "And that ye put on the new man which after God

is created in righteousness and true holiness.

As Christians we should learn at salvation how to become the "new

man in Christ" or "new creatures in Christ" so that life won't have to

be a struggle.

However, many of our churches don't guide their members into a life

of Christ, they just preach salvation and leave the new Christian on their own.  They are unable to change because they are not instructed how to cultivate their new life in Christ just as seeds are planted into the ground.  It's a process and it is a part of being a successful Christian.

You can begin the process of living abundantly by:

1.    Thanking/praising God for what He has done and is doing for you.

2.    Deciding to live in Christ
3.    Following Him
4.    Learn and obey the Word of God (Bible)

So if you're in the midst of difficulty or you're just disappointed with your life, you can begin to change your circumstances by first thanking and praising God right now for what you have today and who you are!  This is where your abundance in Christ begins.

If you can’t do this, then it will be difficult to manifest the spiritual

and personal growth you desire to achieve, the ability to serve God

at your utmost, and your ability to realize your dreams.  This is

because you will always be working hard on our own ability instead of God's.

Know That God's Word Is For You No Matter What!

Acts 10:34  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, "of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons."

You have no excuse not to be thankful and follow God's Word because

it is for YOU!  No matter what you've done or what your background.

Before you you continue with Part II of this Living Abundantly In Christ Bible study, I want you to take time to be thankful to God and begin the process of Godly abundance.  Stand, kneel or sit and begin praising God in the name of Jesus Christ for all He has done for you and is doing today.

I Thessalonians 5:19  Rejoice evermore

Philippians 4:6  ...with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

I do this everyday, especially in difficult times to insure that I give God the ability to change my circumstances -- and He does!
